Move-In Cleaning

Give your new home a clean starting point before furniture, boxes, and everyday belongings limit access to empty rooms, cabinets, closets, and floors.

Clean empty kitchen prepared before move-in day

ABOUT THIS SERVICE

A cleaner start before you unpack

Move-in cleaning is timed for the window after you receive access and before the property fills with furniture and boxes. Empty rooms let our team reach open floors, closet shelves, ledges, cabinet exteriors, bathroom fixtures, and other surfaces that become harder to clean once daily life begins.

The goal is preparation for occupancy—not a lease handoff. Homebuyers, renters, and families can prioritize the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, storage areas, or residue left by the previous occupant or recent contractor work. We confirm what is safely cleanable before the appointment.

Inside refrigerators, ovens, cabinets, drawers, and interior windows are quoted as advance add-ons rather than assumed. Water and electricity must be working, and the best results come when cleaning is completed before deliveries, movers, or unpacking begin.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Move-In Cleaning FAQs

When should move-in cleaning be scheduled?

The ideal window is after you have legal access and working utilities but before furniture delivery, movers, or unpacking. Share the key date and any building restrictions when requesting the quote.

Does the property need to be empty?

An empty or nearly empty property provides the best access. If contractors, boxes, or belongings will remain, tell us so the scope can reflect the areas that are actually reachable.

Can you clean inside cabinets and appliances before I unpack?

Yes, when those tasks are requested in advance and included in the estimate. Appliance and cabinet interiors are not automatically included in the standard scope.

What if renovation dust is still present?

Describe recent work and send current photos. Light residue may fit a move-in scope, while substantial construction dust may require a separate post-construction cleaning plan.

Is move-in cleaning the same as move-out cleaning?

No. Move-in cleaning prepares a new residence for occupancy before belongings arrive. Move-out cleaning focuses on a final property handoff after belongings leave.
